  • Rev. Dean Fleming, Pastor

    Dean received his call to ministry after establishing a successful career as a business litigation attorney in San Antonio with an international law firm. Dean is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary. His wife, Martha Beth, also graduated from Asbury and serves as a hospice chaplain for Amedysis, a home hospice agency in San Antonio.


    Dean received his B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin; his J.D. from the University of Houston College of Law; and his M.Div. from Asbury.


    Dean & Martha Beth have three adult children and two "furry" children, Brock & Lilly, their Anatolian Shepherds. When time permits, Dean enjoys playing golf. Dean & Martha Beth also love to travel.

  • Jack Cochran, Youth Director

    Jack Cochran is a graduate of Riviera Kaufer High School and Tarleton State University, with a degree in Professional-Relational Communications. He has graduated as of May 2017, and jumped right into work with the United Methodist Church as the Director of Connecting Ministries in First UMC Azle.


    He took a new job at the turn of the new year as the Youth Director of our own home church, FUMC Beeville. He seeks to apply energy and scriptural learning to match the energy and desire to learn the youth of Bless Up have shown. 


    He has one cat, named Nebby, who is the unofficial mascot for Bless Up.

  • Cassie Krueger, Choir Director and Organist

    Cassie has been a church musician in one way or another since she was 8 years old, having sung in and directed many church choirs, both children's and adult. She comes to us from Beloit, Wisconsin, to be near her sister and far away from the harsh Wisconsin winters ... and for the food!


    Cassie taught Public School Music for 30 years in Michigan and Wisconsin, teaching students from kindergarten through High School. This included 16 years working with the high school musicals and four years with the middle school musicals. She taught Elementary Music, and Middle School Choir, General Music and Special Education Music. She still teaches piano and voice in her home studio.


    Cassie has two grown children, Kim (a college professor) and Jason (an airline pilot) and four beloved granddaughters.


    In addition to her musical duties, Cassie takes care of three cats and one spoiled dog. Well, the cats are spoiled, too.

  • Verma Ford, Financial Secretary

    Attending to all the details of financial stewardship as well as our membership is what Verma Ford does. And she does this work with the warmest heart and smile!


    Verma has been a faithful member of Beeville UMC for many years. In addition to serving as Financial Secretary, Verma is active in UMW and in the Wofford Adult Sunday School  class.

  • Karly Hinojosa, Administrative Assistant

    Karly currently serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Pastor. Karly Hinojosa attended high

    school at Jefferson Davis High School in Houston. After attending Coastal Bend College for a brief time,

    Karly and her husband moved back to Houston to start their family.


    Karly utilized the time in Houston to learn and grow as a mother, wife and business professional.

    She is Quick Books Certified and proficient in AP/AR procedure, with an expertise in office management.

    After gaining much experience in each of their respective fields, Karly and her husband believed it

    beneficial to move their family back to Beeville. A family of four, with many shared hobbies; Karly’s

    favorite activity is taking walks at Veterans Memorial Park.


    “I’m excited to be here. We hope to establish ourselves as useful members of the community.

    We feel we are in a place now; where my girls can both thrive without interference from as many

    worldly distractions as come with living in a larger city. We’re so blessed to be able to return and fall

    into this little community that we have so enjoyed visiting over the years.”
