Rachel graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010, and since then has worked with teens in several different capacities. She was a Youth Care Counselor at The Settlement Home for Children in Austin, Texas (a Residential Treatment Center for teen girls in Foster Care), and started a youth ministry with her husband, Andrew, soon after ending her time as an employee. After moving to Corpus Christi, Texas in 2013, Rachel and Andrew served together with Young Life (a non-profit organization and youth ministry), at Flour Bluff High School, where they were able to grow and deepen their passion for sharing the love of Christ with youth.
Rachel began serving as the Youth Pastor and Christian Education Director at Beeville FUMC in November 2015. Rachel has been having a blast with the youth, and is looking forward to this school year as she and her husband continue to build meaningful relationships with students in the area. She is excited about what the year holds, and is thankful that she has the privilege of walking with teens in their journey with Christ.
Rachel and Andrew have been married since October 2012, and have loved being able to do youth ministry together. Rachel enjoys singing/songwriting, playing guitar, writing poetry, shopping at thrift stores, encouraging others in their health and fitness journeys, and doing anything outdoors. Being musicians at heart, Rachel and Andrew play music together and lead worship any chance they get. They are very grateful to now be on a new adventure to which God has called them – fulfilling their new roles as parents to their 5 month-old daughter, June.

Cassie has been a church musician in one way or another since she was 8 years old, having sung in and directed many church choirs, both children's and adult. She comes to us from Beloit, Wisconsin, to be near her sister and far away from the harsh Wisconsin winters ... and for the food!
Cassie taught Public School Music for 30 years in Michigan and Wisconsin, teaching students from kindergarten through High School. This included 16 years working with the high school musicals and four years with the middle school musicals. She taught Elementary Music, and Middle School Choir, General Music and Special Education Music. She still teaches piano and voice in her home studio.
Cassie has two grown children, Kim (a college professor) and Jason (an airline pilot) and four beloved granddaughters.
In addition to her musical duties, Cassie takes care of three cats and one spoiled dog. Well, the cats are spoiled, too.
